Introducing Strong/MDI’s new micro perforation
The improved perforation will replace our existing microperf and has several advantages over its predecessor:
Void area of 3.5%
The reduced open area increases light reflectance when compared to our previous perforation. With less light loss, the image presented on screen is brighter and of superior quality.
Smaller hole diameter
Hole diameter has gone from 0.8mm to 0.55mm. Smaller openings are less visible up close, viewers can be seated near the screen without seeing the openings.
Improved seams
The new pattern alignment prevents holes from interfering during the welding process, this eliminates the possibility of small imperfections appearing in the union.
