WARRANTY

Warranty Coated Screen material

  • Items manufactured to customer specifications are non-refundable.
  • If the product does not meet the customer’s specifications in accordance with the order, or if the product is defective due to an act or omission of Strong/MDI, the customer has 12 months from delivery or other agreed period to issue a request for replacement or repair, at Strong/MDI’s option, of the defective good.
  • Screens must be approved within 30 days of receiving date or shall be deemed accepted.
  • Strong/MDI is not responsible for transportation delays, damages occurred during transportation, storage or installation.
  • Strong/MDI screens must be properly installed according to Strong/MDI's installation instructions.
  • The warranty does not include shipping and handling fees.

Warranty Non-Coated Screen Material

  • Items manufactured to customer specifications are non-refundable.
  • If the product does not meet the customer’s specifications in accordance with the order, or if the product is defective due to an act or omission of Strong/MDI, the customer has 24 months from delivery or other agreed period to issue a request for replacement or repair, at Strong/MDI’s option, of the defective good.

Warranty Electric Screens

  • Items manufactured to customer specifications are non-refundable.
  • If the product does not meet the customer’s specifications in accordance with the order, or if the product is defective due to an act or omission of Strong/MDI, the customer has 24 months from delivery or other agreed period to issue a request for replacement or repair, at Strong/MDI’s option, of the defective good.

  • The warranty does not include shipping and handling fees

Warranty Eclipse Solid Screens

  • Strong-MDI Screen systems carry a one-year, unconditional warranty against all defects related to system components, material and finishing labor.
  • To meet the terms of this warranty, the Facility Building must be maintained under climate control during the entire installation process.
  • In some cases,the client may provide labor for certain aspects of the screen installation, due to the unknown skill level of such labor this will require additional investigation. Training classes may be required prior to screen installation to authorize warranty.
  • Additionally, the screen must not be exposed to wet conditions of any kind. The warranty does not cover abrasions, punctures, scratches, or other defects caused by impact of others.
  • Strong/MDI is not responsible for transportation delays, damages occurred during transportation, storage or installation.
  • The warranty does not include shipping and handling fees.

Warranty Monarch, Domino and Structures

  • Items manufactured to customer specifications are non-refundable.
  • If the product does not meet the customer’s specifications in accordance with the order, or if the product is defective due to an act or omission of Strong/MDI, the customer has 24 months from delivery or other agreed period to issue a request for replacement or repair, at Strong/MDI’s option, of the defective good.
  • Structures and frames must be approved within 30 days of receiving date or shall be deemed accepted.
  • Strong/MDI is not responsible for transportation delays, damages occurred during transportation, storage or installation
  • The warranty does not include shipping and handling fees

Warranty Motors

  • All motors are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for 24 months from date of purchase.
  • Pending MDI inspection, exchanged items will be invoiced.
  • MDI is not responsible for transportation delays, damages occurred during transportation, storage or installation
  • Motors must be approved within 30 days of receiving date or shall be deemed accepted
  • A 15% restocking charge will be invoiced for returned functional items following 30 days from reception

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Prices

  • All prices are subject to change without notice
  • Prices invoiced will be those ruling at the date of shipment

Terms of Payment

  • Payment shall be made no later than 30 days following date of invoice, unless otherwise stipulated
  • Strong/MDI reserves the right to charge a 2% per month interest charge on all unpaid invoices, calculated daily, from the date invoice is due until the date payment is received
  • The customer will reimburse all costs (including legal fees) incurred in the collection of overdue amounts
  • Strong/MDI retains the right to cease supplying goods and services, even when under contract, to customers who do not meet payment terms

Shipping/Delivery

  • Time and dates quoted for delivery are estimates
  • Delivery Ex Works unless otherwise agreed
  • Strong/MDI is not responsible for transportation delays, losses, damages occurred during transportation storage or installation
  • Goods damaged in transport must be reported immediately by signing the appropriate form upon delivery
  • Strong/MDI is not responsible for any damaged goods supplied ex-works or if delivery form was not signed ‘damaged on arrival’

Return of Goods/RA

  • Goods cannot be returned without the prior consent of Strong/MDI.
  • Returned items must include the serial number and be correctly packed and in original condition.
  • The warranty does not include shipping and handling fees.
